Guidelines to Community Acupuncture Clinic

Please wear loose comfortable clothing; we need to be able to access your elbows andknees. Tank tops and button down shirts are helpful too.

Please refrain from wearing colognes or strong scents, as some of our patients have chemical sensitivity. Some of our patients fall asleep and snore, so you may bring earplugs or headphones if you wish. Please take all personal belongings with you into the treatment room and turn off your cell phone.

The soothing atmosphere in the community room exists because our patients create it by relaxing together. To help us maintain this oasis of calm, we ask that you please speak inwhispers and do not socialize with others while you’re in the room. If you want to have a substantial conversation with the acupuncturist, please schedule a separate appointment.

Acupuncture Angels is offering affordable acupuncture therapy in a semi-private common space to utilize the phenomenon of group intention for healing. The cost of service is calculated on an income sliding scale, eliminating the objection of affordability.

Since the benefits of acupuncture are cumulative, which means each treatment builds upon the previous ones; so acupuncture is very effective with the more sessions you have.  We want to make it possible for you to get the amount of acupuncture regularly so you can feel better.  Please keep in mind that acupuncture can be used to maintain wellness as well as treat illness.

We charge $35-$50 per acupuncture treatment (you pay what you are comfortable with on the sliding scale), with a new patient assessment fee of $30. Payment is due before the session.

Besides cost, another reason for receiving acupuncture in the community space is the benefit of friends, family members, and co-workers having a session together.  Some people feel nervous about getting acupuncture for the first time; they will feel more comfortable having a friend or family member in the room with them.

Please read the community acupuncture guidelines before your visit. Thank you
